Filofax Fusion Personal Organiser Review

Reviewed by David Savage
With computers, laptops, electronic diaries and the rise in smart phones to keep track of your life I recently received a Filofax Fusion Personal Organizer and find it to be of much more use. While I have a desktop computer, laptop and smart phone I find looking up things I need to do in a paper diary much easier and faster. Plus there is no need to worry about battery life, corrupted data or hacking.
I received the Filofax Fusion in black but it also available in blue and there is also a larger A5 version size. The personal one I received measures: Width 155mm, height 192mm, depth 42mm.
It has a high quality textured case with a leather strap closure and 6 metal rings inside to keep the contents in place. It has 2 slip pockets on the front and 1 larger one on the rear.
Inside it has 3 credit card sized slip pockets, 1 elasticated pocket that is perfect for my phone, a large vertical slip pocket and an elastic loop to store a pen. So there is enough storage inside for my phone, bank cards and paper money.

Now to the contents; it has a easy to view week diary (over 2 pages) starting from July 2013 right up to December 2014 so you get an 18 month diary and the days of the week are in 5 different languages. It has some pages for notes, 6 page dividers (numbered and different colours), 5 different coloured ruled paper, address book pages, To Do list pages, a 17cm ruler, a plastic top opening sleeve and lastly a ruled notepad. It also has some pages for personal information, international holidays, religious festivals, weights and measurements, a timetable and even a clothing size equivalents page.
Overall, the is a great personal organizer with all the information you need at the opening of a page. It is of excellent quality with lots of storage and plenty of space to write down all the information that you need.
While at an RRP of £40 for the personal size in black or blue you may consider it expensive but overall it is much more affordable than a good quality electronic version and there is no need to charge it up all the time. While electronic versions are great for the office I feel, at least for me, that this is a much better option if you are out and about and have access to your important information at all times in all places.
With Father’s Day coming up this would make the perfect gift!
