I am a big fan of cognitive and sensory development, along with the combination of creativity and co-ordination, so the colours and concept of the TickiT Wooden Lacing Jewels in this set are absolutely brilliant. With bold and striking colours such as purple, green, red, yellow, pink and white, these are guaranteed to capture the eye of any little one’s gameplay and imagination. The balance of all this together makes interactive play fun when asking about the different colours and shapes.
The wooden jewels are beautifully crafted and will provide timeless fun for children who want to explore shapes, patterns and colours, whilst developing their motor skills too
As soon as you open the box, you will be impressed. You are presented with a collection of brightly coloured jewels in different geometric shapes and sizes, along with very sturdy laces. Made from beautifully smooth, sustainably sourced wood, this really is an impressive set of jewels.
They are very well made and feel extremely solid, with rounded edges and a soft finish. This is very reassuring, making them safe and easy for little hands to hold.
The brand TickiT is well known for making fantastic, educational and durable wooden toys, and this wooden lacing jewels set is no exception. The workmanship and craftsmanship really do stand out. When it comes to lacing the jewels, the holes are a good size, making them easy for little hands to thread the cords through.
The laces are strong and thick, and together with the jewels, the combination of quality materials and outstanding design ensures endless fun without any fraying or dents.
This set has definitely been designed to encourage early learning. Lacing the jewels helps with little one’s hand-eye co-ordination and concentration, along with their motor skills; all key to their development.
