Nice packaging with a window on the front of the box showing contents.
These are a fantastic idea, pre-cooked and drizzled with olive oil, they can be used in stews, casseroles, salads, in fact almost anything you fancy. Just snip open the sachet and add to your dish.
The rustic mix contains bartolli, cannellini, haricot, blackeye and red kidney beans. I used them in tacos and they were delicious. The Tuscan contains pearl barley, lentils and, spelt. I added to a beef casserole and it added some lovely tastes and textures to the dish. The Mediterranean mix contains broad beans, lentils and chick peas. This was used as a last minute throw together (as I call them) meal of soup, the beans didn’t go sloppy or lose their consistency which made for a lovely broth!
This is a very good product. They are long life so can be stored in cupboard until needed with no fuss or last minute shopping. I also found that they made the meal go further, which means a money saver too.
