Spongebob Squarepants Junior Bingo Review

I have recently received the Spongebob Squarepants Junior Bingo board game from Tactic Games. My kids loved it! My kids also love Spongebob Squarepants! They are usually good with board games and this game was able to keep their attention. They were even more enthusiastic to play this game with the anticipation for the new Spongebob film.

The age for this game is 4+ but I think age in this case age is irrelevant when you like the cartoon characters and you have a child that can understand how to play. I have a 7 year old girl and an 8 year old boy and they both were as interested as one another to play and keep playing. I believe that this game is incredible value for money as my kids have played it too many times to count already.

I was amazed by the quality of the playing boards. They are made of tough / durable cardboard and the print is of good quality in a bright yellow Spongebob Squarepants theme on both sides. The game works similar to how you would expect to normally play bingo. They have bright cartoon characters from the ‘Spongebob Squarepants Television Series’ on them in different sections like bingo. There are not too many spaces to fill on the board so the achievement seems realistic to them and is able to keep their interest.

You can have up to 6 players (the player cards are large enough to share between two players if you wished). To start to play you have to turn the character token over so they are colour side up. You would:

1. Take turns to spin the colour wheel.
2. When it stops on you all take a colour.
3. Turn them over and place the character tokens on your own board.
4. When you get a row you would win the game.

This is a very friendly game as one or more players can win at the same time. I would definitely recommend this game to others as it is easy to play as the rules are easy to understand. I gave this a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed playing this game with my kids as a family. When playing the game sparked friendly competition and a lot of laughter. This game is loads of fun! You can easily get carried away and involved in this game. As a mum I am always looking for a game like this! And now I have found one!
