Sweeney Todd Deluxe Todette Lady 3 Blade Razor Review

I am a long-time seeker of an ideal ladies razor. Having very sensitive skin I need a safe way of removing unwanted hair growth without skin irritation. On receiving the Deluxe Todette Lady 3 Blade Razor from Sweeny Todd, I was pleased to find the packaging easy to open. I hate battling with plastic wraps that require scissors and split nails to open. This time all that was necessary was to pull at the perforated box and lift out the shaver. It comes with 2 cartridges and in my case another pack of 4 new blades (replacement 4 pack blades cost €14/£12.36). I was also pleased to find replacement cartridges which makes the product more eco-friendly with less plastic to throw away.
Many ladies razors come in a very sickly colour but not so in this case. The design is in a rather delicate shade of pink with a grey blade cartridge and a chrome effect handle. The handle itself is very well designed for a ladies smaller hand with a lovely weight to it and a comfortable grip. The base makes a very handy way of storing the razor between uses.
The Deluxe Todette has a pivoted head with a lubricating strip and a soft rubber guard at the bottom of the 3 blades. This gives a very close shave but be aware it is very sharp so doesn’t need as much pressure as many other disposable razors. I found it very easy to glide along my legs giving a close cut without nicking. In my case I used a shaving gel because I have often suffered with a rash in the past. The lubricating strip stayed in position which has not been my experience with other makes. I found the underarm hair also easy to remove with only one sweep of the razor. I did not use deodorant straight away because of past experience but found no sign of soreness or discomfort on either my legs or arms.
My use of Sweeney Todd Deluxe Todette Lady 3 Blade Razor has not yet been long term so I am unable to say how soon before regrowth but so far my legs still feel smooth to the touch with no sign of stubble. I would recommend the product highly to all my female friends and family. Do try out this Irish company for yourselves.
