A while ago my mum got a chance to review a stunning Didrikson Angelina Women’s Parka and so when I was offered a coat for each of my three children, I jumped at the chance.

Didriksons are Scandinavia’s leading brand for outdoor garments – smart, stylish clothing that protect you from the wind and rain – with more than 100 years of experience.

Tom (age 3) was sent a Waterman Kid’s Jacket (500503) in two shades of blue and silver. The first thing that struck me was the quality. A friend felt the jacket and said how thick and well-made it was. The style is simple yet elegant. I also liked the fact that the hood is easily removed by undoing the poppers. There is a panel of material behind the zip to stop it rubbing up against your child. The waist can be adjusted in a matter of seconds. The jacket has a lovely grey soft fleece collar. There is a STORMsystem™ which makes the jacket 100% waterproof and windproof (all seams are welded). Cleaning is so easy too which is so handy with a messy toddler. You literally just wipe the coat clean. There is a handy name label inside the coat too which is ideal if your child goes to a childcare setting or school. The coat also has a hook making it simple to hang on a peg. Tom loves his coat. I know that he can be outdoors having fun whilst snuggly and warm. This week we have had great fun walking home splashing in every puddle we come across. We also go on a lot of days out as a family and this jacket takes up minimum space. It also has reflective strips for safety. RRP: £29.99.

Jack (also age 3) received a navy blue and silver Babu Kids Jacket (500415). This is a longer style to Tom’s jacket and has poppers instead of a zip. The hood is easily removable by undoing the poppers and the sleeves have 2 adjustable poppers.  The STORMsystem™ makes the jacket rainproof and windproof. There is a handy fabric panel behind the poppers when the jacket is done up. The jacket has a handy name label and hook to hang it on a peg. The neckline has a soft grey fleece lining. Didrikson’s jackets ooze simplicity and style. Jack, like his twin brother, has been splashing his way home from the school run all week and I know that he is warm and dry while having fun. It also has reflective strips for safety. RRP: £29.99

Lauren (age 9) received a beautiful pink and orange Wylie Kid’s Jacket (500410). Her jacket is made of a thinner material than her brothers. The majority of the jacket is pink. There is an orange mesh inside the coat and the trim is orange too. The Didrikson logo is simple in style and silver and orange. It looks amazing. The hood is removable by undoing the poppers. The 2 pockets can be zipped shut which is ideal for Lauren as she likes putting lots of things in her pockets. There is a flap of material behind the zip. It also has a reflective strip on the back for safety. RRP: £39.99.

Overall I would recommend these beautiful jackets. I can see them lasting a long time and being able to pass them along to do someone else a good turn.
