Crossfly Ikon X 6” Men’s Boxers Review

Are you beginning to think of gift ideas to treat the men this Father’s Day? I have been! The weeks seem to be flying by with the weather warming up and already Father’s Day is only a little over a month away. I think it’s a nice opportunity to treat the men in my life such as my Dad, Grandad and husband to show them just how much they are loved and appreciated. I do think men can be rather difficult to buy for though and find that they often are appreciative of practical gifts they can use.

New underwear is a great present idea as it’s practical, useful and something everyone often needs and buying especially a more special gift set. The Ikon X 6” boxers from Crossfly that I received this week are exactly what I had in mind as they are so luxurious, a real premium that many men may not splurge on and buy for themselves usually. I was delighted to be sent a pair to try that I surprised my husband with. When the underwear arrived I knew they’d be perfect for my husband. I chose my husband’s usual size medium however it is recommended you purchase a size smaller than normal if you want a contoured fit as they are super stretchy. The boxers arrived in an attractive box packaging that would be ideal for gifting. It is also 100% recyclable. We received the black/silver pair however they also come in two other colours – silver/charcoal and navy/white. On opening the packaging, my first impression was just how soft they are. The underwear is made of 5% elastane and 95% modal fabric which is super soft and also naturally stretchy. My husband found they fit well, felt soft and stretch with your every movement keeping them in place and making them ideal for day to day wear or for exercise. He normally finds boxers either to feel too tight and restrictive or to be loose and not provide enough support. But he was pleasantly surprised by how good the fit of these are. I also think design wise they look attractive, I liked the black with the silver for the detailing and waistband.

It’s clear the Crossfly company really care about getting the product just right with a lot of effort having gone into the clever design. They have used various technologies to make these unlike any other boxers. The X-Fly technology enables easier, faster access through the trouser fly with no need to pull down the waistband. Whilst the ZeroFold 360 waistband keeps the boxers in place no matter how active you are and the Coccoon internal pocket provides comfort and support. Finally the Dri-PX2 is a double layer to protect against moisture. These have now become my husband’s favourite pair to wear. I will definitely be treating him to more next time I’m present buying.

The Crossfly Boxers would make for a practical Father’s Day present that would sure to be well appreciated by any Dad for how much of a luxury they are. The father figure in your life is sure to love these.
