This teen book follows the lives of Elliana (Ellie), Andy and Dylan who make up the band Blackstar. The 3 have been friends for a few years and count each other as best friends. Ellie is Andy’s girlfriend but soon Ellie realises she has feelings for Dylan. Ellie auditions for a TV talent show and must decide whether her future is with Blackstar or can she go it alone. She also has to discover who her heart truly lies with Andy her loyal boyfriend or the impulsive yet attractive Dylan.

A great drama from Laurie Depp with lots of excitement and twists.

Although it’s a book aimed at teens, I am 28 and enjoyed the story and wouldn’t mind reading the other 5 books in the Consequences series.
