I was really excited to receive this bottle to feed my 7 month old son with. I previously used other branded bottles to give him expressed milk with limited success.
The bottle came in simple and stylish packaging, unlike anything I’ve seen on the market. The bottle is green trimmed with clear plastic and silicone, and is wider than other bottles we’ve tried. The soft silicone body of the bottle makes it easy to grip when assembling and the wide opening made filling the bottle easy and reduces the risk of spillages.
The vents in the teat of the bottle are designed to minimize air intake to baby, and in turn, prevent colic. Our baby took to the bottle straight away and was able to take a full feed in the first time it was used. He seemed to be able to latch on easier than with other bottles we’ve tried, most likely credited to the specially designed, nipple like teat. His hands touched the soft bottle while he was feeding, which is designed to be skin like, enhancing the breastfeeding like experience for baby.
After used, the bottle was easy to take apart ready for washing and easy to clean out as there is no narrow neck – no bottle brushes required!
This bottle is fabulous. Having experienced difficulty getting my baby to take a bottle when needed, the Comotomo baby bottle has made our lives so much easier. There is enough to worry about with a new baby without issues with bottles. I highly recommend this bottle, indeed I already have done to close friends, to anyone who wants a bottle designed with mother and baby in mind.
