I love trying out new baby products. I was thrilled to be sent some JOONE items to try with my 3 month old.
JOONE Paris specialise in products for baby and new Mummies, I know little about the brand and I was keen to find out more.
I was sent a baby vest/summer onesie, baby wash and baby moisturiser to try. They arrived packaged sensibly in an appropriate sized box, items were individually wrapped in paper, so first impressions were good as I could happily recycle all the external packaging.
The Perfect Summer Onesie
This arrived in its own canvas bag, adorned with the JOONE logo, a lovely touch for gifting. And it’s a good size to keep in your changing bag which I am using for dirty bibs and clothing while I’m out on the go.
The vest itself has a cute watermelon print and is easy to put on and take off- wrap style with strategically placed poppers rather than over the head, not only does it look adorable on but can easily be removed after accidents without covering the rest of the baby in whatever mess your trying to clear up.
It’s 100% cotton and reassuring to know they have obtained a certification stating they do not contain any substance harmful to health. This has been perfect for the hot weather, it looks adorable on and she’s had lots of compliments in it. It washed well on 40 degrees and kept its shape well.
The onesie comes in a few different patterns and also in long sleeve, it retails at £24.90 which is quite expensive compared to other similar items on the market but it is lovely quality and the presentation in the canvas bag would make it a perfect gift for a new little one.
The Perfect Hair and Body Wash
This 400ml bottle with practical pump action lid was what it said on the label, pretty perfect, cannot fault it really, I like that it is dual purpose for hair and body, it isn’t heavily scented but does have a very subtle clean floral scent. At £16.99, this is slightly more than I would throw into my usual supermarket trolley but a little did go a long way, one or two squirts was plenty for a full wash as it lathered up well. I was reassured to know the wash was vegan and dermatologically tested. I would happily recommend this to any family with a little one.
The Perfect Moisturising Milk
Like many parents we include baby massage as apart of our bed time routine, I was keen to give the lotion a try, I was again reassured that it was hypoallergenic which is so important with sensitive baby skin and contained 99.6% natural ingredients, the fragrance was subtle but pleasant, it absorbed easily and was non greasy, it was a lovely addition to our bed time ritual and left my little girls skin lovely and soft. This also retails at £16.99.
JOONE clearly care a lot about there products and spend a lot of time making sure they are clean and without toxins that can be damaging to little ones. That is how they can justify the slightly higher price tag.
On looking at their website JOONE also have a gorgeous range of products for new mums which would make a lovely gift, new mummies are often forgotten when baby arrives so this would be a great present.
I would be interested to try their nappy subscription service which looks great quality and wonderfully convenient and of course will be needing a onesie in the next size up soon.
Overall I loved being introduced to these new products that I would otherwise be unaware of.
