The CloudM Bar at CitizenM Tower of London has just launched a brand-new menu, making it an even more exciting spot for a drink with a view. This isn’t just any bar; it’s a whole experience, offering creative new cocktails and refined bites alongside its stylish décor and breathtaking views of London’s most iconic sights.

Right from the moment you step in, CloudM’s double-height ceilings and chrome chandeliers in sleek glass boxes make a big impression. It feels spacious and elegant but still cosy enough to settle in for the night. There’s a mix of high-top seating if you’re feeling social and low-level couches if you want to sink in and chill. For a bit more privacy, head up to the second level where intimate reading nooks and enclosed tables give you the perfect spot for a quieter moment or a catch-up with a friend.

The mirrored walls here are a clever touch, making the space feel like it stretches on forever while the views out the windows take centre stage. From up here, you get a sweeping view over the Thames, the Tower of London, London Bridge, and The Shard. At night, with the lights of London twinkling, it feels downright magical.

With the launch of the new menu, CloudM’s drink selection is more impressive than ever. The bar is well-stocked, and the team behind it is friendly and really know their craft (special shout out to the bartender who made cocktail creating look easy!). The cocktail list has something for everyone, but a few really stood out. I started with the Queen Bea, inspired by Andy Warhol’s portrait of Queen Beatrix on display in the hotel. It’s a mix of Tito’s vodka, St Germain, triple sec, grapefruit juice, vanilla and lemongrass syrup, and lemon juice, topped with pink edible glitter for a bit of sparkle.

Another favourite was the Horizon Swell, inspired by Warren Neidich’s art over at CitizenM Bankside. This one features rum, falernum liqueur, vanilla and coconut syrup, bitters, pineapple juice, lime juice, and apple sauce. It’s tropical and smooth, a great choice if you’re looking to unwind. I also tried the Lemon Cowboy 2 (inspired by “Cowboy 2” by Daniel van Staalen, also featured in the hotel). Made with rum, Drambuie, caramel syrup, lemon curd, and lemon juice, it’s a rich and refreshing twist on a classic sour.

For those after a non-alcoholic option, the Earl of Raspberry mocktail is delicious. It combines Earl Grey syrup, raspberry, and ginger beer – tangy, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

The new food menu offers a selection of light bites that complement the drinks perfectly without being too filling. Highlights included vegan cheese on radicchio, crispy ham croquettes, and salty salmon mousse – all beautifully presented and full of flavour. For dessert, there’s a vegan cheesecake with dark chocolate and a gorgeous white chocolate champagne truffle topped with a raspberry, just the right sweet treats to wrap up the night.

Location-wise, CloudM Bar at CitizenM Tower of London is in a prime spot, easy to reach and close to some of London’s top attractions. It’s ideal for any occasion, whether you’re looking for a Christmas party venue, a birthday celebration, or even a private event – the bar can be rented for private functions. With the unbeatable views and stylish décor, it’s hard to imagine a better backdrop for a night out in London.

In short, CloudM Bar at CitizenM Tower of London gets a solid five stars from me. It’s got style, atmosphere, and fantastic food and drinks – a must-visit for anyone wanting a memorable night out with London at their feet. It would also make an amazing gift experience; treating someone to an evening here feels like giving them a slice of the city itself. Whether it’s for a special celebration, a birthday surprise, or a unique Christmas gift, an evening at CloudM is the kind of experience they’ll remember long after the night is over.
