Foodies Festival Tatton Park Review

The Foodies Festival was held over the weekend of 6th, 7thand 8thJuly – a time when you would hope we would be walking around in flip flops and floaty dresses basking in the sun – well, that’s not quite how it was!
We were lucky to go to the event at Tatton Park on Sunday; and after a week of torrential rain we arrived armed with our wellies ready to be enticed by delicious smells and new foods! And we weren’t disappointed! To say it was muddy would be a understatement, but that didn’t stop hundreds of people flocking there to have their tastebuds tantalised! And tantalised they were!
The air around the show was filled with fabulous aromas, especially in Street Food Avenue, where you could sample foods from all over the world! There was over 100 stands at the show catering for every palette, as well as masterclasses from top experts in the Food and Drinks Theatre, a cookery class area where my daughter did food experiments and even made tomato soup and there was even entertainment and music on the live stage!
We tasted so many different types of food and drinks and one that sounds very wrong, but tasted so very right was toffee flavoured cheese – delicious!!
Luckily for us, the sun shined whilst we were there, and after spending 4 hours wandering from stand to stand we left with lots of delicious goodies!
The Foodies Festival is a series of festivals over the UK, so why not try and catch up with the next ones?
