MasterChef Winner Phil Vickery MBE Cooks At MasterChef LIVE 

MasterChef LIVE returns to London’s Olympia from 11thto 13thNovember with this year’s Celebrity MasterChef Winner, Phil Vickery MBE attending, it was announced today (MONDAY).

Phil is the latest addition to the tantalising line-up for food and wine lovers. He joins a whole host of MasterChef faces, which includes host and judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, last year’s Celebrity Champion  – Lisa Faulkner as well as this year’s finalists, Kirsty Wark and Nick Pickard; Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galetti, Dhruv Baker, James Nathan, Tim Anderson, to name but a few.

Visitors will have the chance to watch Phil Vickery in the competitive Cook-Off theatre sessions. Hosted by John and Gregg, he’ll compete head-to-head with previous champion, Lisa Faulkner and MasterChef Champion, Tim Anderson.

Phil said: “I’ve heard great stuff happens at MasterChef LIVE and I can’t quite believe that I’m going to be judged by John and Gregg again so soon! Some may say a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire but I’m really looking forward to being there.”

The hugely popular live event will, once again, offer inspiring entertainment, great food and unique opportunities to take part in interactive demonstrations.

There’s also a chance to cook for John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the new MasterChef LIVE Challenge sponsored by Plenty.

The exciting new competition gives members of the public the chance to win John and Gregg’s approval by creating a signature dish in just 45 minutes! In keeping with the TV programme, contestants will need to use their cooking skills to impress using their own ingredients and innovation.

MasterChef The Professionals judge Michel Roux Jr will be wowing audiences with his signature dishes in the Chef’s Theatre sponsored by Sainsbury’s.

Acclaimed Michelin-starred chefs Tom Kitchin and Michael Caines will also be cooking live alongside this year’s MasterChef finalists in the brand new Michelin meets MasterChef.

Popular MasterChef 2008 Champion James Nathan returns to the show this year to host the Demonstration Stage sponsored by Sainsbury’s from Friday through to Sunday. He’ll be presiding over the stage, interviewing chefs including Monica Galetti, Dhruv Baker and well-known faces from MasterChef 2011 as they share their knowledge and cooking wisdom with the audience. Monica will also be imparting her words of culinary wisdom at the all-new MasterChef Cook School.

As well as picking up a plethora of cooking tips from a wide range of MasterChef faces, visitors can also taste some of the iconic MasterChef dishes at the Pop Up Restaurant.

On top of the amazing line up of MasterChef content there is as a vast choice of delicious food and drink to taste and try and buy plus a wealth of expertise on offer.

Once again MasterChef LIVE will be home to London’s finest speciality food market – showcasing over 120 producers. The Producers’ Village hosts a collection of the very best international producers of artisan food and drink. Partnerships with Slow Food UK, FoodLoversBritain.com and schemes such as The Producers Bursary Awards enable small, deserving producers opportunities to attend the show.

Following its debut last year the massively popular Wine Show will once again run alongside MasterChef LIVE, where you can learn how to pick out the perfect wines in tasting sessions at the Drinks Tasting Theatre sponsored byLiebherrwith celebrity experts including Oz Clarke and Tim Atkin.
