When I received the Carfume luxury car air freshener I must admit I was a little intrigued. It’s not like any kind of car air freshener I’ve ever seen before. It appeared to be a strange wooden pyramid sitting upon a black bottle. Sure it was hanging from a string but I wasn’t sure where to start with it. The box also contained a bottle of fragrance. Luckily for me the instructions were quite straight forward.
The fragrance I had received was Creedy for Him. It was very strong and could have easily been worn as an aftershave. The Carfume brand is about using designer fragrances that you would usually wear, for your car. My husband certainly liked the smell! So I carefully followed the instructions which included emptying the refill bottle of the fragrance into the black bottle which unscrewed from the wooden pyramid. I then re-attached the pyramid and held the whole thing upside for a few seconds until I could see the oil seeping into the wood. I then placed the air freshener into my car in the evening knowing that in the morning I would get the full effects of the fragrance.
Surprising, the next morning when I got into my car, the fragrance wasn’t overpowering as I expected it to be, it was actually very subtle and rather pleasant. It also wasn’t too masculine for me, however when I viewed the website I discovered a huge choices of great designer fragrances that I can refill with next time including names such as One Million, Choo, Dolce, Thierry and Alien. But I especially have my eye on the Flowerbomb! As an added bonus there is a 10% discount on refills when purchasing after buying the Carfume system. I was going to pass my Carfume air freshener onto my husband once I’d tested it but I may just be keeping this for myself!
It is a great gift for any drivers in your life. The air freshener itself has a classy look to it and its quite unique from any other car air fresheners I’ve ever seen. The one I have is the Matte Black Premium Edition. There is however, a great range of colours and designs to further help you pick out a unique gift them and choosing someone their favourite fragrance to go with it, it’s easy to personalise it for a loved one. In addition you don’t have to stick to one fragrance, each time a refill is needed it’s possible to try out another great fragrance. The fragrance will last for 6 weeks at which pint, a new cork will also be needed.
The Carfume price range started from £9.99 for the system and the fragrance. It would make a great gift, secret Santa or stocking filler this Christmas.
