I always love reviewing games. Not only are they fun and interactive but they can also be amazing for a child’s cognitive development and 7ate9 is no exception to these. I will explain more a little bit later, firstly the concept of the game.

Basically, you need to get rid of your cards as quickly as possible, sounds easy but it is not.

HOW TO PLAY
I have listed the points below in order to help you get started but I also suggest that you click on the link mentioned in point 6 below to give you the heads up, as it could take some of you a while to get to grips with the concept of the game.

Nominate a dealer
Dealer then shuffles the cards and when finished, place the top card face up on the table.
Share out the remaining cards between the players, face down (ideally 2-4 players)
As soon as the dealer shouts out ‘GO’, each player needs to pick up their cards but one at a time only!
Remember, there is no sequence as to who played, you are all playing and racing against each other to get rid of your cards as quickly as possible
From them onwards, it will be easier for you to follow the instructions I have found on YouTube, please click on the link below:-

As I mentioned in my opening paragraph, I love a game that is great for interaction and cognitive development and just as importantly from an educational perspective too. This game allows all these and more, including numeracy.

The 7ate9 game is a real game changer when adults come into play, especially after a few drinks. LOL, give it go, it is guaranteed to make you laugh.

Whether you play with children or adults, this game most certainly gets you thinking.

The playing cards are bright and bold colours that shout out which are red, yellow, green and blue. Again great for cognitive development. When not playing the game itself, I would interact with my grandchildren, nieces and nephews by asking them where ‘show me number 8’ or ‘where is the red card’.

I love the fact that the bright bold red egg keeps all the cards neatly in one place, it saves on unnecessary storage boxes and also means it is so compact, that you can use it to take away with you when travelling.
