Doidy Cup

This cup couldn’t have come at a better time for my daughter & I. She is 7 months and had recently started refusing her sippy cup. I’m sure it’s because she wanted to be like her older sister and have a cup with no lid on. Plus, she likes to see everything. It was becoming a chore to get her to drink water.

The cup is slanted at the mouth piece which allows the child to see what is inside. There are handles either side which are perfect size for little hands to grip onto. The cup is light weight and easy for the child to lift to their mouth and put down again afterwards. I found that the rim sat nicely at my daughters lips and didn’t invade her mouth.

It sits sturdy on the high chair tray.

First use was a disaster! She was so eggar to drink from it by herself that she spilt 95% down herself. We’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and she has pretty much mastered drinking from it with out any major spillages. She is now taking water with no refusal.

The Doidy cup can be used for breast fed babies from 3 months or earlier for expressed milk. It is suitable for use throughout the weaning process without the need to use a bottle.

-The cup comes with a reusable pouch for when out & about.

-Holds approximately 200ml

-Dishwasher & freezer safe

-BPA, Phthalate and PVC free

Doidy Bowl

The Doidy bowl also features the special design slanted top with one side higher than the other. This meant that she was able to see exactly what was in her bowl and easily pick up food from her bowl.

The bowl is made out of a soft food grade silicone that enables it to be rolled up if needed. I hadn’t had the need to do this yet.

I love that the bowl has a very strong sucker on the bottom, enabling the bowl to securely stick the the high chair tray or table. Both my daughter and I benefited from this feature, which I haven’t seen on bowls before. It meant she could eat without becoming frustrated that the bowl moved around her tray and for me it meant, that she couldn’t flip the bowl and it’s contents on the floor. This is going to be a game changer when she starts using cutlery.

To release the sucker there is a tab at the side to pull up. I’m please say that it needs a good tug so I doubt that a baby would be able to do it.

I like that the bowl is microwave safe as it will make life easier when out & about with my daughter at meal times.

-The bowl is approximately W15x D15 x H5cm

-BPA, Phthalate and PVC free

-Dishwasher & microwave safe

-Reusable pouch for travel

I try to buy British when possible to support our economy. I love that the cup and bowl are British design and made.

Since reviewing the cup and bowl I have purchased another set. I feel that they are definitely money well spent. My daughter no longer refuses to drink water and the bowl means she can always reach her food with the added bonus that the bowl and contents do not end up on the floor. Game changer! I score the cup & bowl both at 5/5.
