Like many parents I am always on the lookout for things that will make my life easier when it comes to my children. One thing that in my opinion is a game changer for the weaning/feeding stages is the Bibado Coverall.
If you’ve ever had children you’ll no doubt be very familiar with how messy feeding a baby/toddler can be. Since my eldest was born I’ve always used some form of a bib, which most of the time ended up being yanked off, so it was brilliant to trial the Bibado.
It arrived in a bright cardboard box which got the kids attention straight away. It even caught the dogs eye as he grabbed it from the letter box, luckily the teeth marks were in the cardboard only so I can definitely say there packaging is durable. On the inside of the box was a mask for your little one to colour in and cut out. If you wanted you could also enter a competition to win store vouchers. Shame our mask had teeth marks in them!
There are four designs to choose from in the coverall range, speedy dinos, unicorns, woodland or oceans. I choose Unicorns as they are pretty popular in our house at the moment and I love how bright and colourful it was. It looked great on the website but even better in real life. I hoped with the bright and eye catching design it my make my child happier to wear it as we venture into the wonderful world of food.
The coverall can be adapted to suit each baby as it has a large Velcro strip at the back of the neck which can be adjusted to suit your babies neck diameter. There is nothing more frustrating than buying a bib and your baby having a growth spurt and not being able to use it. On each of the arms there are 4 poppers which can be used to shorten the arms for younger babies and ensure it can be used for many months as well as elasticated wrists to stop food dropping down into the sleeves. All of these are brilliant features but the part I love the most is the Velcro and elastic strap that fits either underneath the high chair table or attaches to the legs. Why do I love this feature so much I hear you ask, well that’s because it catches all the stray bits of food that toddlers like to drop and it means when it comes to the end of the meal I only need to wipe babies hands and face then we are off. It’s great that we don’t have to do outfit changes after every meal.
As the Bibado is easy to clean you can take it out and about with you to save any messy meal times in a restaurant. You can either wipe the coverall down or put it in the washing machine and an added bonus it can be tumble dried if you don’t have enough time to wait for it to be air dried.
If you are looking for a ‘must have’ to add to your baby collection I would highly recommended the Bibado Coverall. It does exactly what you need and makes feeding/weaning your baby/toddler a dream.
