Bayliss & Harding are a company based in England that have been in business since 1970. I have always enjoyed their products and really value that they are keeping up with current trends.
Bayliss & Harding Goodness is the latest range. The purpose of the Goodness range is that it is better for our skin and the environment by using very little nasties such as dyes and chemicals. I am definitely becoming more aware of the damage products I use daily has not only on my self but also the environment.
The range includes four different fragrance collections with each including: body wash, soap, hand cream, bath soak and hand wash.
The fragrance collections are:
* Lemongrass & Ginger (fresh natural energy)
* Sea Kelp & Peppermint (calming)
* Rose & Geranium (mood booster)
* Oud, Cedar & Amber (sensual)
I tried out the Lemongrass & Ginger body wash 500ml. These are two of my favourite scents and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
The scent is very energising and fills the bathroom.
The body wash is almost transparent in colour and thicker in consistency compared to my regular shower gel. I was really pleased to see that the body wash hadn’t been dyed into a ghastly colour.
The body wash lathers up very well and quickly. I found that I didn’t need to use as much. Bonus! Whilst rubbing it in my skin, the body wash felt silky and smooth. The fragrance filled the shower cubicle-I found it very uplifting and like I was in a spa.
After use my skin felt very clean and refreshed with no irritation or tightness. I loved that I could smell the essential oils on my skin.
Due the fact the body wash is made with plant based cleaners & essential oils. I let my son who suffers with mild eczema use it. The products he normally uses have no scent & are more like a cream wash.
He really enjoyed using the body wash and loved the natural smell. After using it he showed no signs of irritation or redness.
The best bits about the body wash are that it is: 95% biodegradable & made with mild plant based cleansers. Dye free. Paraben free. Silicone free. Sulfate/SLS/SLES/ales free. Dermatologically approved – mild & gentle. With organic extracts. With essential oils.
The bottles are 100% recyclable
It is made in England. Vegan friendly.
The body wash costs £4 for a large 500ml bottle. Looking at the packaging and the over all quality of the product you would instantly think that this is premium product with a matching price tag. At £4 this is a absolutely steal and proves that sustainable beauty doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.
Taking into account the size of the bottle & that it is an eco friendly, it costs very little more than buying regular shower gel. Goodness body wash will definitely be a regular product in my shower now. I am also looking forward to trying other products and fragrances from the Goodness range. Especially, the hand cream.
