Baby Touch: Food

This book and some great illustrations of scrumptious and healthy fruits within it.

My great nephew is 14 months and absolutely loved it. Whilst reading it to him, we made many different sounds, even when we mentioned a piece of food.

A great way to introduce food to baby and toddler is to have some of the foods that are in the book in a bowl for baby to identify and taste. He never liked the feel of strawberries but the book gave him something to think about. He would look at the book, look at the real strawberry, so on and so forth several times, you can imagine how amazed I was to see him not only touch the strawberry but pick it up too. It took several attempts before he was brave enough to put it in his mouth, now there this no stopping him. We did this with all the foods that are in the book and it is a great way to encourage him to try new things.

I would really recommend this book for all the above reasons and it is very well priced at just £5.99. At the time of writing this review, from the stockists below, I found the best deal to be had was from Blackwells. This is the link to their website.

Baby Touch: Seasons

A great book which enables you to introduce and show baby and toddlers all of the seasons of the year. Within the book not only does it cover the lovely seasons with bright and colourful pictures, there are also snowflakes that sparkle and really cute, soft and fluffy chicks.

As with the Baby Touch: Food book and my great-nephew, there was a lot of fun to be had with much interactive play, touch, feel and sounds. He especially loved the snowflakes and chick and I have to admit, as a grown adult, I really did love this book, all because of the cute fluffy chick…. Think it is the inner child in me LOL.

As with the Baby Touch: Food book and all the above reasons, I would defiantly recommend this book. It is also very well priced at just £6.31. At the time of writing this review, from the stockists below, I found the best deal to be had was from Amazon. This is the link to their website. Please bare in mind that this price was for Prime Members and may incur P&P charges if you are not a Member. If so, the next best price was from Blackwells at just £6.40. I have also listed their website below.
