I was looking forward to reviewing Arne Dahl as I though the concept of the series was a good one. I was a bit worried that the episode would be long winded as they are about 90 minutes each part of the episodes, but the series works well, it does draw you into the story of the special team of police officers or unit "A" as they call themselves.

The episodes themselves are well played out with all the plot twist and the entire separate story’s merging into one by the end of the episode but do lack some originality in some of the episode plotlines.

I also liked the fact it is not just a crime show but that we get to know the lead characters and their lives, I find it really helped you see them as real people and helped you to connect with them.

Some people may find it hard to watch if you are not used to reading subtitles, but I find it makes you pay more attention to what is going on as you are have to watch what was happening and not be distracted by your phones or playing on the computer. Saying at times I did find it hard to read the subtitles when a speedy conversation between multitude of people.

One drawback I think some people would have, which I didn’t is the length of the episodes. A full episode is 3 hours long which was okay for me but if you had a very busy lifestyle it could take a long period of time to watch the whole series.

I felt in all it was a great show and the finale episode left me wanting more and I will watching more series as they come out.
