Aqua Sphere Kameleon Kid Swim Goggles Review

Reviewed by Lauren O’Hara

This week we have been trying out the Aqua Sphere ‘Kameleon Kid’ swim goggles for ages 3+. They are available in blue or clear lenses and my 3 year old son chose blue (as it’s his favourite colour!) We love swimming in our house and I have been taking him swimming since he was 8 weeks old. It’s safe to say he is very confident in the water and has recently earned his 5M badge. While he loves swimming, he struggles with his eyes while trying to see underwater. After about 15 minutes he is complaining that his eyes hurt and he wants to get out of the pool (his eyes are always bright red). While wearing the Kameleon Kid swim goggles he didn’t complain once and finished swimming, staying in longer, without red eyes!

We have tried a pair of goggles in the past and ended up giving up on them as they were so hard to adjust. The whole swimming session we were constantly taking them off to tighten or loosen them. The Kameleon Kid swim goggles are so easy to adjust with their E-Z adjust side buckles – just put them on and then adjust to your comfort. They didn’t fall down or need loosening and my boy found them comfortable while wearing them.

Other features for the Kameleon Kid swim goggles include: 100% UVA/UVB protection, anti-fog, scratch-resistant lens, wide panoramic vision (which can help build water confidence by not obstructing vision) and they are latex free and hypoallergenic. Priced at just £9.99 they would make the perfect gift for Christmas or anytime of the year for the swimmer in your life! Available in adult, junior (age 6+) and kid (3+) sizes. They are available direct from Aqua Sphere’s website or from good swim shops.
