Brainstorm Aurora Northern Lights Projector Review

Reviewed by Julie Jessup
Brainstorm very kindly allowed me to choose what I would like to review, it was not an easy task as the company have so many interesting things. I decided on the Aurora Northern Lights Projector for my granddaughter.
It is brilliant projector that gives an amazing light show of the Northern Lights as seen in the Arctic and Antarctic in your room.
The device has two disks which changes the pattern of the light projected on your ceiling. There are 8 different colours to choose from and it is very soothing to watch. Green is the best colour as this really is the greatest way to represent the Northern Lights.
It does make a slight noise as the disc turns but it is not off putting.

Aurora is a Latin word meaning sunrise and was the name of the Roman Goddess of the Dawn.
These lights have fascinated people across the world and people travel thousands of miles to see them, not any more with this projector, can you imagine having this display on every night in your own home on the walls or ceiling.
My granddaughter has this on every night and her other night light has been made redundant as this is far better than any night light.
On the box is says 6 years plus, my granddaughter is younger then this and it is suitable for her. I would say it would be fantastic for adults that suffer from sleep problems.
It is battery operated and batteries are not included you need 3x AA, this is ideal as it is easy transportable. There is an auto shut off motion which saves your battery life. It measures 18cm x 13cm x 10.5cm Also included is a very informative colour booklet.
My daughter-in-law works in a nursing home and has taken the leaflet to work as she feels this projector will help patients that are laying down all the time and are unable to move as it would help to relax them.
Brainstorm Toys intend to educate and entertain children whilst teaching them about their environment. It certainly lives up to its intentions.
Brainstorm has been in business since 1995 and is owned by 3 directors. They have a UK based sales team and they distribute worldwide from either their UK warehouse or direct from the Far East. They are constantly adding new items.
With Christmas fast approaching this would make a fantastic gift. I believe most children would love to own one and if not this particular one the company have such a large selection to choose from these include:
- My Very Own Moon Night Light
- My Very Own Rainbow
- Light up 2 and 1 Globe Earth and Constellations
- Rocket Projector and Room Guard
- Deep Space Home Planetarium and Projector Night light
- My Very Own Solar System Night light
After seeing this in action I am very impressed and I am going to buy one for my husband for Christmas, the only problem I have is deciding which one!
Definitely 5/5 stars. I would like to thank Brainstorm for making it possible for us to have this amazing experience within our own homes.
