The OXO Tot range of products are so modern, stylish and practical and the OXO Tot training plate is no exception.  Suitable from 6 months, the design has a curved removable silicone coloured ring which assists the child in scooping food onto their spoon or fork, my toddler has been getting very frustrated at every mealtime and often resorts to using her fingers to push the food onto her spoon but this plate has reduced the amount of messiness at mealtimes significantly.  You can remove the ring once the child has mastered eating which makes the plate easier to use for older children who want to cut their own food up.  The plate also has a non-slip base which also helps your child as they don’t have to chase their plate around the table.  The plate is really easy to wash up and doesn’t stain and it’s also dishwasher proof.  I would recommend only using silicone or plastic cutlery as metal does seem to mark the plate. 

Another great design from Oxo Tot is the packaging which has an easy peel cardboard back which makes access to the packaging so simple and easy and no need for scissors or sharp implements around the children, in my opinion all other manufacturers should follow suit. 

I highly recommend this product, pricewise a bit more than most of its competitors but worth the extra money for an attractive inventive product that really does what it’s designed to do.
