Wahl Mini Massage Gun Review

If you’re struggling to know what to buy for your loved one for Valentine’s Day, then this review is for you. You may know the name Wahl for producing hair clippers and grooming products, but I was surprised to discover that they also make massage guns, and the Wahl mini massage gun is a great gift for your loved one!

A massage gun is a fantastic way to unwind after a stressful day, without costing a fortune and with the convenience of having a massage anytime and in the privacy of your own home! You can use the massage gun as part of a relaxation routine as a great way to unwind, or to aid recovery post and reduce muscle fatigue post exercise, the Wahl mini massage gun states its ideal for deep tissue massage and comes with a range of attachments to tailor the massage to your preference. The massage gun and attachments come in a compact case for easy storage, which is an added extra that you don’t get with other massage guns, this also makes it the perfect size to take with you when travelling.
Although the Wahl massage gun is marketed as ‘Mini’ this certainly doesn’t impact on its performance and it definitely has plenty of power. The massage gun is cordless which is a real bonus, meaning you are not restricted with where you can use the massager by the need for power supply or a cable, it charges using a USB cable which is included and with a full charge lasts for two hundred minutes so it will comfortably last for a few massages, before it needs recharging again. It is easy to use and turns on and off with a single button, which is also used to change the intensity and there is a clear LCD display that shows the speed/intensity settings and also shows the battery charge.

Being a mini gun, it is compact and lightweight as you would expect, which helps make it easy and comfortable to use. The gun has six speed settings which range from a gentle, relaxing massage to a more intense ‘deep tissue’ according to your preference.

The gun comes with four interchangeable attachments, each targeting different areas of the body. The rounded head gives a deep massage and is great for targeting aching muscles and can be used anywhere on the body, while other attachments target specific areas of the body, for example the spinal attachment which is great for a relaxing back massage, which targets the pressure points surrounding the spine, the bullet attachment which can be used to target smaller pressure points for an intense massage and the flat head which is great for use on larger muscles. The combination of different attachments and speed/intensity settings means you can customise your massage to your own preferences. My own personal favourite is getting my hubby to give me a back massage using the ball attachment, which I find really relaxing after a long day working on the computer helping me to unwind. I’ve also used the massage gun to aid recovery after a workout to help avoid aching muscles.

All in all, this is a great little massage gun which would be a great present for Valentine’s day and something thoughtful that is a little different from the typical Valentines day gift. It is perfect as a gift to help your loved one unwind, you can give the gift of unlimited massages and its also perfect for a partner who loves the gym to help them recover after a workout, so its really versatile.
