We’ve never really done money boxes in our house, I have three children but we just put money in bank accounts instead. However as they are getting older and loosing teeth they need somewhere for the tooth fairy money to go so getting this review is great timing.

The money box we have been sent is a white ceramic money box with grey animals and the personalisation in grey too. This is only one of a huge range of money boxes suitable for all occasions from saving for first homes, to travelling, first birthdays to wedding day funds, there are some truly stunning designs and they are great value for money too.

The money box was sent in a polystyrene box, so was super well protected in the post inside the polystyrene it is beautifully wrapped in white tissue paper with a sticker saying hand crafted with care, it’s perfect for a gift straight from the post, it’s ready wrapped so you could just pop it in a gift bag and it would look great.

The money box is a really cute size, approximately 9.5 cm tall so not too big but also big enough to save some pennies. The animals on the money box are really cute and would go nicely with an animal themed bed room or a grey theme. The personalisation on the money box is written at the top and can have 13 characters, underneath this is written pennies and pounds with the cute animals beneath.

The money box is glazed inside and out so nice and smooth for small hands and no chance of any sharp edges or pointy bits, there is a rubber plug in the base that is a really good fit, not too tight that you can’t get it out and not too small that it falls out with the pressure of all the coins inside! The whole is also big enough to easily get all sizes of coins out and also notes if you happen to have spare to put in there.

Any of these money boxes would make an incredible gift for a wedding, for a Baptism, for a birthday or maybe even a gift with the tooth fairy for those tooth coins.

There are plenty of designs to choose from too so if cute animals aren’t your thing you can choose from plenty of other super cute themes. There are also different shaped money boxes if you don’t like the cylinder, there are also rectangle boxes and even a couple of silver plated shaped options too.

They are great value for money too and the quality speaks for itself, if you are in need of a gift for anyone with money to save you couldn’t go wrong with one of these and I’m sure your recipient would be over joyed too.
