Wahl Clipper And Trimmer Cordless Set Review

This is a fabulous little clipper set which comes with in a compact case to keep all the attachments together. The tools are shiny chrome and black and look very smart.  The hair clippers are light weight and cordless, charging with the cable provided. The initial charge needs to be done for 18 hours so don’t be in a hurry to use when you get it. I found the clippers sit well in my hand and were easy to use. They glided across my partners head with no drag. Being cordless made it so easy to cut all over without getting tangled up in the cord. It has a selection of ten guide combs to enable you to choose the length of your hair or to shape as required. The combs range from 0.8mm to 25mm. My partner always has his cut on 0m and I found that the cut was perhaps a little longer than with other clippers, but gave a great finish. It was powerful enough to wizz through the hair in a single pass without getting clogged up. It is quiet and does not vibrate too much in your hand. Although I used this to cut my partners hair, I’m sure it would be simple enough to be used on your own head.

The beard trimmer is battery operated taking one AA battery. It was very easy to open and install the battery. A very neat tool which again comes with a selection of six guide combs and shaping combs. This fantastic little tool is light and easy to hold. The variety of tools are great for trimming and shaping beards, moustaches and sideburns of any length or thickness and can also be used to make straight edges on the hairline. I used it to trim my partners eyebrows and it made a very neat job and so much easier than using scissors and a comb.

The final tool was the nasal hair clipper. This is a very slim tool, not much bigger than a pen. It takes one AAA battery which again was easy to install. This is great for whizzing of those pesky nasal and ear hairs to complete the well groomed package.

The kit also contains a hair comb and a beard comb, scissors, a cleaning brush and oil to keep your clippers in tip top condition.

I would recommend this set to anyone looking to buy clippers for the first time or replace their old set. Great if you like to do your own hair at home or for in between visits to the barbershop. It comes with all the tools required for the well groomed man but can equally be used on children too. Each tool is functional and good looking. Simple to use and durable, this set would make the perfect gift for your dad or that special man in your life.The storage box keeps everything neatly in one place so nothing can get lost in the back of the bathroom cabinet or the bottom of the drawer.
