The first thing I want to tell you is how beautifully packaged this product is.  It came in a lovely black box with the company name etched in white and a white ribbon tie.  It shouted out “there’s something special in here”.  Included was a small compliments card in an envelope which was a very nice touch and added to the overall gifting experience when unwrapping it.  Also included was a small card with some simple instructions on how to start the watch, general care, how to replace the battery and the water resistance of the watch.  This card also explained the guarantee (which was one year) and how to return the watch if needed.

The watch is made by Ravel and has a very modern look.  It had a highly polished silver finish on the outer case and a brushed silver finish on the dial.  The hands including the all important second hand and number indicators were in a copper finish , the mesh strap was silver finish as was the pin brooch.  The watch has a secure pin to fasten it onto a uniform and lies flat against the body, the watch face was approximately 3cm in diameter and very easy to read which is very important for this type of watch.

The most unique feature of this watch is the option of having it engraved.  This can be done on the front of the pin brooch or the back of the watch face and in a choice of three fonts script, times or sans serf.  It could be a name if you choose to have the engraving on the pin brooch or a name and message if you choose to have the engraving on the back.  On the back of the watch you can have an engraving that consists of up to four lines with up to 16 characters per line.  There is a feature on the website to try out your chosen engravings and see what they would look like on the products before making your final selection.  The engraving service is offered free of charge and I think makes a gift extra special.

My niece is a nurse and like all the medical profession has been working so hard under very difficult circumstances this year.  Just like all the people in this profession she is so dedicated to her job and I think this would be the perfect gift for her not just for Christmas but to show how proud I am of her.
