Spicy Parsnip – Creamy with a kick!
Usually when I think of parsnips I think of those vegetables which you find on your plate at Christmas which fool you into thinking they are roast potatoes only to met by an acquired perfumey taste! Needless to say I was slightly apprehensive about the spicy parsnip soup but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. A very tasty soup which I would definately recommend.
Cream of Cauliflower – Creamy
This soup was full of flavour – very strong in cauliflower so you would have to be cauliflower eater to enjoy this soup, just as well I love cauliflower! The consistency was fairly thick as other vegetables had been blended into the recipe which made for a very tasty dish.
Farmhouse Vegetable – Yummy
This soup was also enjoyable. The consistency wasn't as smooth as the cream of cauliflower and spicy parsnip so you had something to chew with this one! This was full of flavour with a slight peppery kick.
All of the soups were full of flavour and hunger satisfying. They all came in environmentally friendly packaging. All soups last in the fridge for one week once opened and you can keep the remaining contents in the same tub as it comes with a resealable lid – very handy for lunches at work! I will be most definatley keeping a look out for Rod & Ben's organic soups on the supermarket shelves and placing them in my trolley!
