Until we were chosen review MojiPops we hadn’t heard of them before but were very excited for the arrival.   We welcomed a generous delivery of MojiPops into our home, which included: blind bags, club houses, a starter pack, 8 pack of figurines, I love pets set, I like food truck play set and a treehouse.   My children aged 3 and 6 shouted with joy  & excitement as they unpackaged the Mojipops. MojiPops had taken over our house.  So what is a MojiPop? A MojiPop is a figurine approx 2cm tall which is made of squidgy plastic that has a removable face. The square face has two different facial expressions which can be changed or swapped with other Mojipops.   There are different series of MojiPops to collect such as: cuties and foodies. Each one is very brightly coloured. There are also rare and special addition MojiPops to collect.

The ‘I like food truck play set’ was the firm favourite with my children. They liked that car had a food truck that the car towed. This set included two MojiPops, foods, seats and a menu. They were in fits of giggles because a little pretend bottle of hot sauce is in this play set and their Dad loves hot sauce!

The play set was brightly coloured and made from good quality plastic. It was robust to with stand the pretend bumps and crashes.  I really liked that the foods and Mojipops have a little hole on the underside which fit securely on the car or in the food truck by a little spike.

All of the MojiPop play sets were well thought out with lots of interactive aspects to keep children entertained such as: the wind up lift in the tree house and the animal carrier in the pets set.

Each piece is very well made of strong plastic and brightly coloured.   MojiPops wouldn’t have been a toy a would have bought for my children but they have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. They have played for hours with all of the different pieces and had great fun. I thought that sets were well thought through and pitched at the target audience. It is great for imaginative play and developing social skills.

What did my children like most?

Daughter 3yrs old- ‘they are so cute & I love the food truck’

Son 6yrs old- ‘that I can change the faces and there are lots of MojiPops to collect’

The age range is 3+ which I consider to be accurate, as many of the pieces are very small and I think some could be mistaken for sweets.   For me the downside to Mojipops is that the little pieces could be easily lost and you need a container to store them all in.   The play sets represent better value for money than the blind bags or club houses but there is something for every budget in the range. If a new series was released I would buy a blind bag or two as a treat to add to our collection.
