SIGG Water Bottle Traveller – Denim Touch Review

My teenage daughter tends to drink a lot of water and we have been through so many plastic water bottles because of leakage problems. I have to admit that I do prefer drinking from non-plastic containers. Both my daughter and I were therefore very excited to be sent a denim touch style 0.6 litre SIGG water bottle to review.
She found it hard to pick the colour due to there being so much choice available, but she decided to go with the Water Bottle Traveller – Denim Touch. The water bottle arrived quickly in perfect condition. The bottle itself is a gorgeous baby blue colour.
SIGG water bottles are made in Switzerland. As a child I used to holiday in Switzerland from time to time and I really fell in love with the country and the quality products that Switzerland had to offer. This SIGG product clearly made from top quality materials, as I have come to expect. Manufacturing takes place in SIGG’s Swiss factory. I prefer PBA free products, so this bottle is ideal.
Whilst my daughter does not tend to drink a lot of fizzy drink, it has stayed leak free when used to hold carbonated drinks. Food safe materials have been used in the manufacturing process. This, again, is a huge plus.
The bottle my daughter received was 0.6l Traveller version. This is the perfect size for taking to school, out with her friends and to the gym. If we were going out as a family I might be tempted to buy and take a 1.5l WMB Traveller and some picnic cups rather than all having individual bottles.
What I love most about the bottle is that it is made from recyclable aluminium. If and when we no longer want it then it can be recycled and not clog up the landfill. That said, I cannot see that happening for years.
As I liked the item we received so much, I decided to have a good look at the SIGG website. I was amazed but delighted to find out that SIGG do not just sell water bottles. They also have thermos flasks, lunchboxes and accessories available. I couldn’t believe how many colours and styles were available in the thermos flasks range. Simple really does mean elegant. SIGG have got it so right. If bold is your thing, or if pastel is your thing you are still spoilt for choice. I have to admit to have fallen a bit in love with this thermos flask, it would be perfect for taking my homemade soup out and about with me on chilly winter days. I also like the look of the lunch boxes.
I would recommend the bottle we received to others and the SIGG range as a whole. I am now off to look at their water bottle range with a view to buying one myself for my gym visits.
An excellent quality water bottle that is made from BPA-free and food safe materials, and doesn’t leak!
