Upon arrival we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome. The family friendly environment provided a relaxing atmosphere. 

The Halfway House is currently running a colouring competition for children at the moment which my daughter took part in whilst we were waiting for our food. 

Rebecca our waitress was lovely and provided an excellent service, she had the balance just right of allowing us to enjoy a peaceful meal whilst still managing to accomodate our needs. The time allowed between courses was also just right, we didn't feel rushed or were we left waiting any considerable amount of time for food. As for the food… well that was absolutely amazing! Cooked to perfection and very tasty so huge compliments to the chef!
 
The facilities were very clean and the staff provided an excellent service. A very enjoyable experience and we will most definately be visiting the Halfway House again in the near future.

Throughout the visit we did feel we were perhaps priviliged to special treatment due to the reason we were there however after the experience it became apparant that the staff were completely unaware that they were under review! Well done team Halfway House, keep up the good work :o)
