Dogsy Selfie Stick Review

I received my Dogsy Selfie Stick with hopes that I could take better photos of my Labrador. Labradors are known for been excitable so getting still photos face on are hard to achieve, or even still photos in general. The Dogsy Selfie Stick definitely delivered the expected results. 

I received the package through the post and immediately knew what it was. The packaging was branded, which is a brilliant touch! The Dogsy Selfie Stick itself was wrapped in bubble wrap and further branded packaging. Making it very well protected from becoming damaged whilst in transport. It also came with a ‘Dogsy Menu’ to show other items available for your dogs, such as beds and bandanas. It also had information for their website, so you can browse their products further and also where to find them on social media. As well as the menu, the package also came with a ‘Thank You’ note, explaining the products are all handmade with attention to detail, there is even a picture of the creator and their dog on the menu. 

I finally opened the package and wanted to test it out straight away, I couldn’t wait to finally get a photo first try! The Dogsy Selfie Stick is easy to use and simple to understand. The stick itself moves in every direction, making it easier to get different angles of your dog. The stick is flexible, made of plastic, does exactly what it is designed to do and has a good quality. It has 2 clips, one to hold on to your phone and another to hold the treat. The springs are strong enough to hold securely to your phone as well as holding the treat firmly, all while not moving from the position you have placed it in. My phone case is quite thick too, but it still clipped on firmly without scratching my phone screen or interfering with the touch screen. 

Once the stick was set up and ready to use, I let my Labrador smell the treat, asked her to sit and got a photo first try! She’s actually camera facing! I rarely get a picture of her like this without filling my gallery of failed blurred photos first. I was so amazed and happy, I took it to my friends house to try out on their dog, and I got the same results! Well, after he tried to jump up for the treat first, but the Dogsy Selfie Stick held position ready for the shoot!

The Dogsy Selfie Stick, is exactly as it looks in the photos and definitely does what the description says! It’s fair to say I will be using this regularly to make sure I capture all the moments with my Labrador. I would highly recommend this product to others who enjoy taking photos of dogs! I think the product is brilliant, simple, easy to use and highly effective especially for the price!
