Zippo Armor Windproof Lighter Review

The Zippo Armor windproof lighter is the quintessential lighter – the signature click of the flint mechanism is recognisable around the world and can seen and heard in dozens of Hollywood movies throughout the decades.

Zippo is synonymous with quality and the well-built weatherproof lighters are a perfect example of this.

The all metal construction of the Armor series is approximately one and a half times thicker than the metal of a standard zippo case, resulting in an ultra-strong product that can withstand whatever life throws at it.

The lighter is built to last, with only a handful of parts – all of which are easily replaced if they wear out.

Zippo offer a lifetime guarantee on the lighter, which is phenomenal. Because of this, the lighter is a great investment piece – to be handed down through generations.

Filling the lighter with fuel is a very straightforward process, with a single screw being the only ‘complex’ part of the operation. Zippo recommends using their own-brand lighter fuel, which is readily available through stockists such as Amazon or Zippos own website.

Packaging for the lighter looks great – with a minimal, sturdy cardboard box. Perfect for giving as a gift.

Retailing at £23 (price from Zippo’s UK website) these lights are fantastic value and will last for years.
