Lechuza Planter Balconera Color 50 Black Review

Reviewed by Debbie Talbot

Living in a flat without a garden doesn’t mean you have to forego beautiful flowers. I was recently sent a balcony box from Lechuza, which meant I could now plant some small things even though I don’t have a garden.

The Lechuza Planter Balconera Color 50 is available in 6 colours (I received mine in back) and comes with an interchangeable plant liner. It has very sturdy carrying handles, can hold up to 25kg and can fix to balcony railings or a wall. It also has a drain plug which can be removed to allow excess rainwater to run off.

This item arrived well packaged. What first struck me was the quality of the packaging and how it had been so carefully packed, it arrived in perfect condition. I can struggle to lift things, but it was lightweight enough for me to lift it.

The gravel provided was just the right quality and looks great.

We took a trip to a local garden centre and picked out some seasonal plants. I am by no means green fingered so opted for plants rather than seeds. I also planted the plants at table level, rather than leaning down to do so. This is ideal for anyone who has a condition which makes it difficult for them to bend down for lengths of time.

In the past I have been unable to keep living herb plants alive. I am delighted with the results of my efforts and so far my plants are alive and looking stunning. This item is well priced and looks amazing.

If you only have a small garden or indeed just a balcony then this is a great item to add flowers or plants to your outside space.

Very easy to fit and use.
