Oxo Good Grips 4 Cup Fat Separator Review

I love making homemade soups and gravies, but as we are all trying to eat so much healthier by using less fat, I was delighted to have the opportunity to try the Oxo Good Grips Fat Separator.

It is a large, sturdy jug with a strainer on top to catch any unwanted bits. It is made from heat resistant, light weight plastic and is dishwasher safe. The measurement markings on the jug are very useful when following recipes. The non-slip handle make the jug easy to hold.

I made a lovely family meal with a delicious low fat gravy using the fat separator. I poured the meat juices through the strainer into the jug. The fat rose to the top and the delicious gravy remained at the bottom of the jug. I removed the spout stopper and poured out the gravy leaving the fat behind.

I would highly recommend the fat separator and will use it over and over again to make tasty meals.
