OXO Good Grips Handheld Spiralizer Review

I am currently eating as low carb as possible on some days at the moment and so I was delighted to receive this OXO Good Grips Handheld Spiralizer to review.

It arrived in minimal packaging, so great for the environment, which protected the item and was informative. The device itself looks fun and colourful. It was easy to assemble and disassemble. I was spiralising carrots, parsnips, apples and cucumber in no time.

It’s very easy to use. You simply place the fruit or vegetable on top of the blade which spiralises with the pattern you want and attached the green turning device. The spiralised items came out onto the plate I had put underneath.

My friend and I tried out all of the various attachments and all of them worked great.  Our favourite was the chunky spiralised parsnips.  I also far preferred the taste of the cucumber when spiralised thinly.

I have been diagnosed with EDS type 3 and fibromyalgia. My friend has problems with his wrist. We both found this device comfortable to use and OXO really is making preparing and cooking food a pleasure again.

The whole product was easy to wash ready for next use. A great little device that is easy to use.
