Selfies are such a big thing these days that the guys from Selfie Clothing decided it was time to set up a company selling bespoke selfie fashion. You get a piece of clothing made especially for you and it’s unique to you. The clothes are all handmade in the UK but you’re in complete control of how your clothes look. They take your choice of their design and your choice of selfie and turn it into a head turning piece of fashion.
We were asked to select one of their lovely Christmas designs of top called the Selfie Elfie. Perfect for kids because if they are anything like my 5 year old, then they will love to take selfies anyway. These tops not only bring a festive feel to their wardrobe but also make a change from the tacky Christmas jumper that we insist on wearing every festive period.
The tops is personalised for your child and comes in sizes 2-3, 3-4, 4-6, 6-8. Tilly is 5 so we opted for the size 6-8 and it is quite snug on her, but not tight. The actual product also differs from the pictures on the web page too, the top is cream and not white and the picture isn’t as sharp as it is on the website, it looks slightly faded (make you you send a high quality picture for best results) . Tilly fell in love with the top from the moment she opened it. It arrived in a box and was wrapped delicately it some paper to ensure it arrived in perfect condition. To her it was like opening a Christmas present. The shirt itself is thick and has long sleeves so it’s perfect for this time of the year. There are also images on the back and on the sleeves.
Delivery within the UK takes 3 -5 working days and you still have time to order for Christmas. The Selfie Elfie is £15 and can be bought from here. There is a label on the bottom of the shirt that has the company logo on it. I actually liked this as it made the product look classy and more expensive as it is. There are washing instructions in the label and this top is easily washed at 40 degrees in the machine, although I used the hand wash programme on our washer (because I am a bit rubbish at washing clothes safely). Tilly had worn her top whilst eating baked beans and although I was horrified at the time, it actually came clean when I washed it the following morning, so the fabric isn’t easy to stain.
This top will make your child feel special because nobody will have the same top as them and if you had more than one child, you could actually have a lot of fun with the different designs, making each child stick out in a different way.
