Paris Street Style: Les Notebooks (Set of 3) Review

Reviewed by Katie Allen
My Mother-in-Law is a very tricky person to buy gifts for. We usually go with the old faithful of smellies but this year I wanted to buy her something a little different.
She, with my Father-in-Law, moved to France three years ago and have been slowly doing up their house over there. She is a very stylish lady as evidenced by her beautiful home.
I saw these notebooks and knew I had to get them for her for Christmas. There are three books – two “Le Grand To Do” and one “Le Petit To Do”.
All three books have a stylish red, blue and white striped colour scheme and are tied together with a delicate blue thread.
“Le Petit” is the ideal size to pop into her handbag. She can have notes about the dimensions of the house at hand so when she’s browsing the markets she no longer needs to guess sizes. This also has squared paper meaning quick sums or scaled drawings can be added too.
“Le Grand” notebooks have lined and blank pages. I anticipate these will stay at home and be used for shopping lists, Christmas card lists, doodles and general musings.
Together they make a useful yet classy gift that I can’t wait to give this Christmas.
