Passion Power and Sin Book 1 by Mike Wells Review

Reviewed by David Savage
Passion, Power & Sin is one story in five books. I have just finished reading book one and will have to now buy the rest as I’m hooked!
The book starts aboard a 300 million Euro Super Yacht equipped with state of the art equipment owned by a reclusive Venezuelan billionaire, Ricardo Mayo. It starts with him committing a $353 million scam.
The book then jumps forward 5 months to a low paid, 24 year old PR assistant, Heather Bancroft. Her mother’s house is about to be repossessed and auctioned off by the bank and she has 30 days to find $200,000 to save it. She starts to receive strange emails predicting the outcomes of things she can bet on, to use as she will. She is now starting to make money on these bets that are getting more and more bizarre including her travelling to Japan and getting involved with the Yakuza.
She has also met a rich and charming man and against her better judgement before she knows it is engaged to be married, but they both have their secrets.
Overall, a very gripping, well-written and compelling story with great characters. The storyline is very absorbing with suspense and keeps you on the edge on your seat wanting more. I can’t wait to read the other 4 books to get the complete story.
A highly entertaining read. I highly recommend it.
