The Remescar Silicone Scar Stick is designed to assist in the healing process of old and new scars. Including those caused by surgery, burns, bug bites, acne and stretch marks, reducing the visibility.
The product is in an easy to use turn up stick with a lid, which also makes it very portable. The directions are very easy to follow too. I used the product morning and night as directed on 2 scars. One scar was caused by a skateboard accident about 25 years ago on my knee and the other scar was due to a surgical C-section 10 months ago.
The directions advise to use product for 3 months for best results however I have seen results after 1 week. The scar on my knee has faded even more, so it is barely visible.
For my C-section scar I only used the stick on one corner of the scar so as any changes would be obvious. That part of my scar was a pink line that stood out from the surrounding skin, after using the stick day and night the pink has faded greatly. The part of the scar where the product was applied is now a much closer colour to the surround skin and therefore stands out less.
I will be continuing to use this product on my scars as fully believe it will help them become almost invisible in 3 months especially since I have had such a good result in just a week. This is an impressive product and I fully recommend others to use it on scars they may have to promote healing.
With an RRP of £19.99, I think this is good value for money as it has worked well for me.
