The Tower of London

The Tower of London was a fantastic experience overall, both educational and interesting for everyone in my family.
The crown jewels were beautiful and so detailed, very specific to each of the different monarchs which made me want to look at what each item was used for and when it was used.
I found the story behind why the ravens were there very fascinating and the animals which they originally had received as a gift have all been sculptured as a replica which really makes you feel like you’re there when everything was happening. It feels as if you have leaped back into the past, to when the Tower of London was in full use and the atmosphere is just amazing!
The exhibits are easy to view and you have plenty of time to view each one if you wish. There is also a ‘hands on’ room where there is lots to keep you entertained from learning about how the patterns on the penny came to be to seeing if you could fire an arrow at the right target, or feeling how heavy guns were back then.
The yeoman are just amazing and their knowledge of the tower is phenomenal and they tell their knowledge in such a great way that pulls you in and makes you want to listen to them.
