Meet Johnny Bennett (Mark Wahlberg). An 8 year old boy whose only friend in the world was a cute and cuddly teddy bear that says "I love you" when you press its tummy – a dream come true.  But one starry night Johnny made a wish that would change his life, that his best friend was real. Sure enough his wish was his command and Ted (Seth Macfarlane) was born.

A funny, charismatic and playful character Ted's adventures with Johnny take them beyond childhood where they find themselves today – Johnny (now John) is 35 years old and in love with Laurie (Mila Kunis). The three live happily together in their Boston apartment. What could possibly go wrong?

This comical tale joins the cast at a pivotal moment in John and Laurie's lives – decisions need to be made about their future and whether or not Ted can be part of it. Now a pot smoking, beer drinking former celebrity who has fallen on hard times Ted is something of a liability if not a loveable rogue.

Directed, written by and starring Seth MacFarlane (of Family Guy fame) it won't surprise you to know that this is a funny (if not strange in places) tale which has lots of twists and turns. A warning though – Do NOT be fooled by the cute and cuddly exterior. This movie contains strong language, drug references and sex scenes and is definitely NOT one for the kids.

Now showing at cinemas nationwide.
