So my 9 year old autistic son is in love with big cats especially Leopards so I had one very excited son when Leopard Adventure by Anthony McGowan arrived. As his autism goes, he is very into reading and has always got his head in a book, I knew he would love this as I read the Willard Price adventures. He read most of the book alone but we did also have a read together as I was quite interested to read it myself as I do love children’s books.
His exact thoughts were, a really good book about Leopards and I learnt a lot of things, it was really easy for me to read, I told my teacher about the book at school yesterday, I’m going to read it again soon.
My thoughts on this book are brilliant and I could not recommend it enough to any mothers with children out there, a fantastic story combining adventure with preservation of nature, beautifully written. I can’t wait for the next in the series.
The adventure of the book is really and good takes me back to all the books I read as a child, I loved reading book like this. I’m definitely buying this series of books to follow and reading them myself too.
