Deep Space Home Planetarium and Projector Review

When I brought the projector home my two girls age 5 and 7 years old were really excited to open it. The packaging was very easy to open and the projector was already set up which we thought was great as you know kids, they hate waiting!

After switching on his table-top projector I put the first of the three discs in and out shone an astronaut walking on the moon. They loved these and getting to look at all the different planets although when they asked questions I found the little information booklet didn't really explain it in much detail and as a parent not knowing much about space found it frustrating. The star dome was its best feature and both my girls couldn't wait for bedtime.

It has 2 domes, one projecting rotating star patterns and the other projecting rotating constellations onto ceilings and walls. The 3 discs have 24 colour NASA and Hubble Space images (8 images on each). All these can be projected onto walls and ceilings and even makes a fun and educational nightlight.

With an RRP of £29.99 (can be bought cheaper than this) I personally think it was a little bit expensive but I think if you could buy extra discs and maybe more books to teach them it would be a lot better.

Overall, it is a fun educational product.
