We recently paid a visit to the Quay House Beefeater at Salford Quays. After parking in the spacious car park outside the restaurant we headed to the first floor of the building which houses the restaurant. After being greeted by a friendly member of staff we were quickly shown to our table. Our drinks order was taken and we were asked if we would like some dipping bread. We decided to give this a try and it was fantastic. There were 3 different sticks of bread and several dips for it. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a second portion. Our drinks were quickly brought to our table and our food order taken. We opted for the Daytime Value Menu. Soon after this our starters arrived.

Starters
Garlic bread (part of the children’s menu)

Vegetable soup £2.00

Garlic and Herb Breaded Mushrooms with dip £2.00

Our starters were hot, generous in portion size and very tasty. Our plates were quickly cleared away and we were asked if we were ready for our main course.

Main Course
Fish fingers, beans and chips (chosen from a wide selection on the children’s menu)
Hand-Battered Fish** and Chips £4.99. Served with bottomless chips, peas and tartare sauce

8oz* Sirloin Steak £8.99
A generous 8oz* rump steak served with bottomless chips

The main courses had generous portion sizes and tasted amazing. Our waitress was quick to offer us condiments and to check that all was ok with our meal. My steak was cooked exactly to my liking. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her fish fingers. The fish and chips were impossible to finish as my dining partner was so full. We could have had a refill of chips due to the bottomless chips offer but we were far too full to take this up. Our plates were cleared quickly after our main course and we were asked if we would like a dessert. Only my daughter had room for this.

Dessert
Chocolate Sundae (part of the children’s menu)

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her chocolate sundae but was so full she could not finish it.

Overall, our visit to this Beefeater restaurant was outstanding.  All the staff were smart, friendly and could not do enough for us. The restaurant itself was spacious and clean. The toilet facilities were clean and tidy too.  The Daytime menu provided extremely good value and we were able to eat from it on a Saturday which is great. We have been to this restaurant many times now and would not hesitate to visit again.

I rate our experience 5/5
