Sylvanian Families Blossom Gardening Set – Flora Rabbit Sister and Brother – Review

Having two daughters age 5 and 7 who already have some of the Sylvanian Families sets we were excited to be gifted this product to add to our collection!! Being familiar with the Sylvanian Families range we were immediately impressed by the quality look and feel of the product. The packaging is nicely finished and all the accessories are clearly visible. There is also nice, clear imaging on the packaging which clearly demonstrates how the item can be used. Packaging is also minimal which I think is great given that quite often things can be packaged with excessive and unnecessary paper/cardboard. It was easy to unpack which was handy seen as the children wanted it open as quickly as possible so they could play!!

When the children returned from school to this surprise package they were instantly excited to open it and start playing. The set comes with 2 Rabbit figures which makes it perfect for two siblings/friends/relatives to role play nicely together. Also in the set is a number of accessories to create a small garden. These accessories include a Watering Can, a Fork and Trowel, a plant pot and three flowers (Purple, Yellow and Pink) and a further plant pot with leafy plant with flowers.

Our children love being outdoors and playing in the garden as well as helping on our veg patch so to be able to combine their love of outdoors and gardening with an indoor activity when the weather does not allow us to be outdoors was really great.  This would be a great alternative to an easter egg for any child this easter!!

The only slight negative is that the accessories are quite small and the Flower heads separate from the stem meaning these are quite tricky for little fingers to put together and also easy to be lost in a child’s toy box. Because of his we feel the age of 3+ may be a little too young.

Overall as a family we have found this Sylvanian families set to be thoroughly enjoyable and both our 5 and 7year old have loved playing with this set.
