The Trace Fire is not the same as just any old blaster — it is specifically created for pure excitement and crazy performance. This product would make an ideal gift for anyone who enjoys the thrills that come along with this sort of fun. Both my boys (ages 16 and 13) rate this product as 5/5 and have since gotten me to buy another one so they can engage in war battles……the joy in my house continues!!!

We preferred using this outside as I was not planning to pick up a million little gel pellets. The boys had to so that wildlife was not affected in any way even though the pellets are not toxic and do not stain.

Age recommendation on the box is 14+ but I think sensible 13-year-olds would manage this very well.
