I hadn’t heard of Zazzle before but I was excited to be given the opportunity to customise a blanket for my 13 month old daughter. I went to their website and was flabbergasted by the choice on offer. There is a choice of over 130,000 personalised baby blankets to choose from which was to be honest a little overwhelming. The editable options include cartoon animals, patterns, zombie skulls and famous works of art to name but a few.
After a couple of hours scrolling through some of the incredible selection I opted for the collage navy 4 pictures receiving blanket.
The website is intuitive and I found it extremely easy to use. I was able to quickly upload 4 of my favourite pictures of my daughter. I edited the text underneath with her full name and it was as simple as that.
I awaited the delivery excitedly and was pleased with the result. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the printing and the photos look great on the blanket. The blanket is quite large at 29” by 39” and needs to be folded over if used in the pushchair. It fits well in the cot however and is very soft, made out of 100% polyester fleece. The trimming around the edge is pretty and feels good quality. It’s quite thin so for a winter day I’d want to add an extra layer. The blanket is machine washable on a gentle cycle and is dryer safe.
At £25.95 I think the blanket offers good value for money and would make a unique gift. My daughter’s will make a great keepsake that she can look at when she is older. I have a christening to attend in a couple of months and think I will definitely consider a Zazzle customised baby blanket.
