My son absolutely loves this bath toy from WOW Toys. When I got home from work the parcel was waiting for me on the side and my two year old was already in the bath, so I ran it up to him to cries of “what’s in the parcel mummy”.
It did take a while to get out of the box as it is well wired in through a cardboard backing, but this just added to the anticipation. When out of the packaging the toy consists of five pieces, a speedboat, a dolphin, a diving board and two people, a man and a woman. The diving board fits on a specially shaped area on the back of the boat or can just be used on its own on the side of the bath. It has a little lever on the side and you can stand one of the people on it, press the lever and they dive into the water. The boat has a secret compartment which lifts up to reveal a living area complete with cat and picnic table and space for the two people to sit. It also has space for them to sit up top in the driving area. Although it floats like a normal boat it also takes in water so it can be used for pouring play which my son really enjoys.
An additional useful thing to note is it doesn’t require batteries unlike so many toys on the market.
My two year old has really taken to this toy, especially the two people which he now calls mummy and daddy and carries round the house when he is not in the bath. When he is they go straight back in and take turns on the diving platform, driving the boat or just enjoying a picnic with the cat.
A great little bath toy that makes a nice change from the useful frogs and ducks and could just as easily be used in the paddling pool or taken to the beach. Highly recommended this would make a lovely gift.
