There is nothing better than being asked to review some wine, this would be an easy task to accomplish. The wine arrived in a sturdy cardboard box marked fragile and contained in a polystyrene holder ensuring safety.
I was asked to try was the Hardys William Hardy Shiraz from South Australia. Opening of the wine was an easy task with a nice screw cap. The packaging of the wine has a sophisticated look to it which looks good when the bottle is on the dining room table.
The scent of the wine is not too intense and gave off quite a nice aroma. After a quick try I decided to leave the wine to breathe on the side for a while to allow the flavours to soften. The wine has a nice full bodied taste to it, but not too overwhelming. We enjoyed the wine with a lamb roast dinner and I found that it made a good accompaniment to this dish. I believe that it would go well with any red meat dish. I would consider purchasing this wine again.
